The Who’s fifth studio album, “Who’s Next” was released in 1971. The album had its origins in the Lifehouse project, a science fiction rock opera that was intended to be a sequel to “Tommy”. However, the ambitious and complex project was never completed, and many of the songs written for it were compiled onto “Who’s Next”. The album includes popular singles such as “Baba O’Riley”, “Behind Blue Eyes”, and “Won’t Get Fooled Again”, making it one of The Who’s most successful albums both critically and commercially.
