COUM Transmissions was founded in 1968 by artists Genesis P-Orridge and Jon Jesus Johero as a private art collective of creative friends exploring the boundaries between art, sexual deviance and living action, COUMs ranks spread over the following years to include artists Cosey Fanni Tutti, Spydee, Pinglewad, Ray Harvey and later, Peter Sleazy Christopherson.

Considered to be COUMs first proper album, Sound of Porridge Bubbling was initially recorded in 1971 as a submission to the BBC John Peel show but never released due to the fast pace of COUM actions and line-up changes.

This bizarre compilation of experiments was shelved and forgotten into the rabbit hole of the P-Orridge With Everything archives only to be unearthed over 35 years later.

Freak-out bohemian Fluxus styled performances which toys with early tape experiments, voice alteration improv and psychedelic freeform jam sessions that ride the absurd rollercoaster into madness.

Released for the first time ever, remastered with complete liner notes by Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. Limited to 500 hand-numbered copies.
