Brighten the Corners is the fourth studio album by the American indie rock band Pavement. The album was released in 1997, following the success of their previous albums, “Slanted and Enchanted” and “Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain.” The album features a slightly more polished sound compared to the band’s earlier lo-fi releases, while still maintaining their signature quirkiness and off-kilter songwriting.
