• Orville Peck combines the ambience of Shoegaze with the melodies and vocal skills of classical American country music and sings about love and loss from the wastelands of North America.
  The resulting sound is entirely his own. He takes the listener along desert roads, through a world where exhausted players, road dogs and lovesick hustlers drift into and out of his masked gaze.
  Orville’s debut album “Pony” provides a diverse collection of stories telling of heartache, revenge and the relentless tug-of-war of cowboy ethics.
  Warm lap steel guitars and echoing drums move through dreamy ballads and sometimes close to hectic melodies – and at the same time pay homage to his country music roots.
