Backyard Babies was formed in 1987 in Nssj and can by rights be called Swedens most influential glam punk act. Between 1994 and 2019 they released eight studio albums, including the 2001 album Making Enemies Is Good.
By 2001 the Backyard Babies already knew their way around amplifiers and microphones, but they really picked up steam with the release of Making Enemies Is Good. Featuring “Brand New Hate”, “Heaven 2.9” and “The Clash”, the album won the influential Swedish glam-punk-hard-rockers their first Swedish Grammy. In support of the record, they toured with Motrhead, an absolutely perfect fit considering the energy.
Making Enemies Is Good is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on green marble vinyl and includes a 4-page booklet with lyrics.
