• “Return Of The Boom Bap” is KRS-ONE’s first official solo album, released in 1993. It reached number 37 on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold over 300,000 copies, according to KRS-ONE
  Unlike most Boogie Down Productions LP’s, KRS takes a bit of a back seat on the production duties here, inviting rising underground stars like DJ Premier, Showbiz and Kid Capri to produce the beats, in addition to his own four contributions
  The song “P Is Still Free” appeared on the “Menace To Society Original Soundtrack” as a B. D.P. track. “Black Cop” was originally released as a 12” single only, was part of the “CB4” movie soundtrack among others and is also listed as a B. D.P. song listed. The album was dubbed one of The Source’s 100 Best Rap Albums and received four “Mics” in 1993.
