Fast Execution is the Bay Area project of wife/husband duo, guitarist/songwriter Alex Velasquez and drummer Paul Igaz. Their songs reflect Velasquez’s ire that rock music is primarily a boys club and she calls for equal representation in the scene. The lean, aggressive sound reflects equally her love of melodic guitar distortion and her hatred of patriarchal machinations in rock music/modern society at large.
