A huge influence on the development of hip-hop culture in the U.S. and one of the originators of break beat DJing, Afrika Bambaataa is respectfully known as the father of electro-funk. One track in particular, Planet Rock, spawned an entire genre of “electro-boogie” rap and dance music that is still vibrant today. Presented here are the legendary 1998 remixes of the track including the original re-edit, radio edit, speed garage mix, DJ Kaylab club remix, O.R.G.A.N. remix and Pure E Mix. All selections have been newly remastered.
