Dry Kill Logic got lumped in with the nu-metal movement of the early Oughts but their 2001 debut The Darker Side of Nonsense wields a brutal sonic bludgeon of singular power. In fact, even Roadrunner, a label not known for pandering to popular taste, asked the band for a more commercial sound on its projected follow-up, which led to Dry Kill Logics leaving for pastures less dedicated to green. Indeed, vocalist Cliff Riganos lyrics give no quarter: What goes around comes around/Once lost now I am found/All of this hatred I focus on you. On the 25th anniversary of its original release, weve remastered The Darker Side of Nonsense for its vinyl debut, and faithfully re-created the beautifully grotesque artwork with a jacket and color inner sleeve.
