Lyn Collins came to prominence in the 60s as a member of James Browns legendary group. Her solo career started in 1971 and she hit paydirt in 1972 when her Brown penned and produced 7 Think (About It) reached #9 on the R&B chart and #66 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Collins debut album Think (About It) quickly followed and, as well as containing the hit single, also featured Collins’ take on Bill Withers Aint No Sunshine, Bacharach and Davids Reach Out For Me as well as Browns Womans Lib and Things Got To Get Better that he co-wrote with Pee Wee Ellis.
