DAVID BOWIE The Best Of David Bowie 1969/1974 (Autographed 1997 UK 20-track CD compilation album featuring a collection of his classic hits released during the period of 1969-74, housed in a standard case with fold-out picture sleeve containing extensive liner notes and credits. This sleeve has been boldly signed by Bowie and dated 97.
This was acquired from the original owner who was a member of the Britannia Music Club, and entered a competition to win a signedCD, well as you can see he was the lucky winner. This is still housed in the original Britannia branded cardboard box, and includes the original congratulations letter. The British mail-order company was owned by PolyGram which sponsored the Brit Awards, and acquired by Universal as part of PolyGram in 1998, and closed in 2007)
