THE STRANGLERS X Certs (Rare 1979 Japanese-only United Artists white label promotional sample 11-track vinyl LP, recorded live at London’s Roundhouse in June and November 1977, and the band’s legendary gig at Battersea Park in September ’78, housed in a great textured pasted gatefold picture sleeve complete with glossy 4-page Japanese text biography/lyric insert, 40″ x 28″ full colour fold-out poster, wide obi-strip and limited edition bonus 2-track 7″ vinyl single featuring Choosy Susie and Mean To Me [17F-3]. This example also includes a rare original ticket stub for the 18th February show in Tokyo. The sleeve & obi has very light signs of age wear and the poster has never been displayed, the vinyl on the 7″ is Excellent with light surface scuffs and the LP vinyl has minimal signs of play – a stunning package!
