THE BEATLES Liverpool Echo Salute To The Beatles (Rare 1964 UK 11″ x 15″ 32-page ‘Pop Special’ journal, featuring photographs & articles about other band’s from the time, including Manfred Mann, The Dave Clark Five and the Liverpool scene as well as a full-page advert for the Cavern, showing a line up including Sonny Boy Williamson, The Yardbird, Gerry & The Pacemakers and others. Also included in the 32 pages is a 16-page suppliment showcasing the Beatles tour of America with photographs of the band at work and at play. There is also a small advert proclaiming ‘Liverpool’s all-star group Pete Best and the Original All Stars’ as a small coda to the band’s success. This copy shows tears to the top, but nothing too severe and the colours on the front & back are clean from excessive yellowing)
