AUGUSTUS PABLO King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown (1976 Jamaican issue 11-track vinyl LP with deep groove green & yellow Yard Music label, pasted card picture sleeve. Legendary Dub team-up album featuring Pablo’s haunting melodica lines, rock-solid rhythms [courtesy of Sly & Robbie, Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith and Carlton Barrett] and King Tubby on the mix – praise Jah! pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve is graded Very Good with some edge scuffing and slight discolouration to the rear panel but is free of rips/tears or handwriting etc. Although JA vinyl was never manufactured to the same standard as US/UK pressings [this copy has some tiny ‘bubbles’ visible on the playing surface] play-testing reveals no loss in fidelity with the drum and bass shining through. This is the first example of an original pressing we’ve ever offered for sale and comes highly recommended)
