This album captures Black Flags blistering gig at the On Broadway Theatre, in San Francisco, on 23 July 1982, in its entirety.

Here, the line-up of Henry Rollins (vocals), Greg Ginn (lead guitar), Dez Cadena (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Chuck Dukowski (bass, backing vocals) and Chuck Biscuits (drums) tear through classics such as Wasted, Revenge, Jealous Again, Six Pack, No Values, Fix Me and many more.

This recording is considered a vital, raw document of early 80s hardcore punk, highlighting the bands chaotic and powerful live presence. The performance was captured during a time when the band was unable to release new studio material due to a legal dispute, forcing them to survive solely on touring.
